We are a small town east of the City of Rome. The Town of Floyd is made up of many people with big hearts and helping hands. People here take pride in our town and pitch in helping on a volunteer basis. As a small town, we rely on people like this to help our community flourish. Our people take a genuine interest in the area’s youth and donate many hours of their time on programs that involve them. Others work hard in our Volunteer Fire Department and EMT squads. Many people volunteer hours in our churches, scouts, senior citizens, grange, and other groups throughout the town.
